higgy Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 maby........ http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KAWASAKI-ZX12R-2000-...1QQcmdZViewItem or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-KAWASAKI-ZX10-R...1QQcmdZViewItem Wat do you think Higgy
z1000 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 YES. Its got kawasaki on the side and 2 wheels so can't go wrong but the zx10 is meant to be a real nutter machine.
sma01 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 nice looking bikes, i'm looking at getting a new 1 too, narrowed it down to 2, either the R1 or GSXR 1000 scott
z1000 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 R1 is guarenteed to put a grin on your face but just doesn't look like a top of the range sportsbike but better with a GSXR 750 than the thou unless your the new steve hislop.
philip_wilson Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Quote Wat do you think Higgy, if it long distance touring you plan to do get the ZX12R as its a great touring bike, but if it back road blast and track day then you can't get much better then a ZX10R for the job. Philip_w

I'd agree with that! 12 for fast touring 10 for round the doors n back rds. Gus
rabskyline Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 i had a gsxr 750 and a cuple of duc's before i had a shot on the zx10 at an open day in west coast suzuki ! frightened the shite out of me !! thats a big boys bike ! and i mean 12-13 stone plus ! you cant keep the front down and the bike is tiny fore what it is ! mental !!!!
thefastone Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Quote I'd agree with that! 12 for fast touring 10 for round the doors n back rds. Gus Yeah, Definitly Agree with Gus there, But personally I would Happily stick with my CBR6F-S Goes plenty fast enough for me, and plent fast enough for any road that you might enocounter... I managed 155mph on mines, I was still Pulling when I chickened out.... (possibly bad choice of clothing...)
higgy Posted August 11, 2006 Author Posted August 11, 2006 Ive been riding since i was 13 years of age and have had 14 bikes ,the last was a 2003 gsxr 1000 wich was the tool i used to break two legs[]. I have been of bikes for almost 3 years now and i have got That Itch back again. I thaught of the 12 to be a bit more sensable , but went to the Kwak dealer and fell inlove with the green 10 (test ride on Saterday[ so we will see wat happnes Higgy
johnnyr6 Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I agree.. touring 12, to play with.. 10 but the zx10 is a complete nutter of a bike, too much for me, i could never use it to it's full potential on the road (not many could) and that for me would be frustrating. If you go for the 10 make sure the steering damper works well...[]

wilky Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I had a kawasaki once, and ran at 80mph alongside the crashing GPZ 900 ninja for about 0.5 seconds before spending the next 4 months in Inverclyde Royal Infirmary. Have fun.

st3ph3n Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 higgy, we had a consultant in at work yesterday. He ran a training course I was on a few months back, so he knew I had the scooby. He said a few weeks back he was running another course and a south african guy had a black Impreza that was very quick indeed. Would that have been you?
