zeolite Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 As you can see it was rough as a badgers arse and the yumps were brutal. Some very varied machinery and a grand day. One next week near Dundee too.
kloon Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Quality pics Ac!d [] Least we know now what you was doing whilst me, Phil and Dale were doing all the work []

STi_Bandit Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Some good pics there looks like it was a good day out :-)
RA Dunk Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 aye yer car got a bit of a battering on sunday , surprised there were any cars left running at the end of the day lol [] BTW thats a fine looking garage ya got []
zeolite Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Aye the garage was why I bought the house. The car has been built to take the abuse but the gear linkage has got very loose so I had to pull off the sump guard to get at it and I had to take the front bumper off too. Inner wings are cracked so the welder has to be pressed into use as well. Will be back together by Sat

zeolite Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 The mudflaps are OK though [] i also got a new windscreen courtsy of Roy Mclennan which was fitted during the lunch break.
Big Daz Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 And you want us to take our Puggy to get abused like that !!!! LOL []
zeolite Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Quote And you want us to take our Puggy to get abused like that !!!!LOL [] Yah big pansy! [] That was a rough one. If the weather has been wet it is quite easy on the cars as your spend all your time struggling for grip. In the hot weather the holes get hard edges and start doing damage to the car and your neck.
creationracing Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Yeah, have had a fair amount of feedback from a few people saying they'd be happy to come back for another event, just not to that field... Guess we may have to look for a venue with a harder wearing clay surface, but I'm reluctant to abandon Coneyhatch totally as it's free, most of the residents at the farm compete and youre right next to a good source of tools and spares if something goes wrong! Im not exactly a soil-ologist but I'm guessing there's not much that can be done about the surface of that field, pity as it was a brilliant track, will probably get it levelled off and compacted so we can get another go on it sometime, hopefully with a bit more moisture it'll be a bit more car-friendly! Some nasty damage you got there Ian, hope it's all fixed soon. Got a wee dent in the front of my Fiesta from doing a "burning Messerschmit" nose-dive off one of the jumps, other than that it's in one piece! Nobody get any pics of me, blue and white Mk2 Fiesta?
zeolite Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Roy Could you pm me Roy M's phone number as I need to give him some money.
