zeolite Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Thought I would repost this in its own thread as I am still looking for feedback about these. Several people have reminded me that I have asked for their support in the past and it has been given for which I am pleased and grateful. I don't know why anyone would think differently. The Fife region has grown very well from the first ever meet of myself, Mrs Z, Miss Z ver 1.0 and Higgy to the 30+ folks who turned up at the last one. So perhaps as we are in the adolescent period, arguments will crop up. I welcome discussion and we should do more. however my outrageous workload has meant that I have less time than I would like to spend on SIDC matters. I wish I could say that I will have more time but as my boss has just described July as "crazy" it doesn't look that way. Now since my "carpe diem" approach doesn't seem to suit the majority or at least the vocal majority I am going to propose the following. Please note the word propose. Fife meets from now on to be last Thursday of the month. No deviation. If I can't make it then so be it and I know I can depend on the hardcore to look after the new folks. Additional events will be slotted in around the meets. Runs, social events etc I will have to make more effort to speak to the core members outside meets. This will I hope give others an idea of whether or not I am around and perhaps I could delegate some of the ideas for events. Please feel free to pm, email or even phone me on the few days I have at home. Other members to organise events. This would be most welcome. All I ask is to be pm'd before going public to avoid date clashes. Any member is welcome to do this. So please let me know what you think. If there is something else you think should be added just let me know. If i don't know what you want I can't give it to you can I? []
