the squiggle Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 If only you had been 100ft taller and the picture would be spot on. Top effort none the less now take the rest of the morning off, you have earned it
paddy247 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 A panoramic view. Is this Knochill you refer to near Knockhill, is it also the place where the gays meet lol
dougster Posted June 12, 2006 Author Posted June 12, 2006 I'm sure I met you there Paddy. [] I could possibly get up the hill a little further next time and even use a tripod for a better effect. First time for everything eh!!![]
coulty Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Considering Doug did the photos in literally 10 secs i commend him on the effort!!!
paddy247 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Lol so you are saying if we see a silhouet of a tripod on that hill we will know who it is[]
st3ph3n Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Dougster, can it really compare to this though: I mean, you can't even spot the stitching!
jcscoob Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Or this ?? ..... Pik takin with my phone so its no the best, but still good ! []
the squiggle Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Looks like you have been stealin my Tobagan JPS's Yes cracking effort Dougster, was not dissing his efforts at all. What would the view be like from up at the TV transmitter, if i was inclined even to walk that far up a hill
dougster Posted June 12, 2006 Author Posted June 12, 2006 Jesus thats a big 'un St3ph3n, looks like NHS stitching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jon, FANTASTIC picture!!! Once up the hill my lens wouldn't be powerful enough I recon. 'Autostitch' (free software) is program which I used.
st3ph3n Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Fat fingers and paint for the win! It's a good picture Dougster if I forgot to add. Do you have it in bigger size?
dougster Posted June 13, 2006 Author Posted June 13, 2006 The 'Autostitch' kinda does it for you then I cropped it with Photoshop CS2. I haven't looked at different sizes as yet but plan some more panoramic attemps soon. (Faslane Fair 17th, and Doune Hillclimb 18th)
4Hero Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 good effort st3ph3n with paint [Y] decided to have a go at cleaning it up [A]
