Yip, hate it when people say things like "the acting is so wooden" my only response is "Acting... ??!??!? oh right, was that behind the cars?" lol

I'm expecting it to be a load of crap... my hope is that there is less bodykit/neon action and more realistic 'racing' or 'drifting' done. I'm holding out for the 14-speed, 80mph reverse gear, Evo7 returning with its indestructable front bumper. [:^)]

Anyone else from west/east/central fancy a wee jaunt to see this then?

Showcase at Coatbridge or Paisley has plenty of parking, especially on a weeknight. Coatbridge is easy to get to for anyone coming from the east or the north. My judgement is in no way coloured by my ability to get there in 5 minutes or so.

I'm open to suggestions though.

Saw it the night B4 I left Singapore (thanks once again to Patrick, my new found tuning contact in Singapore) thanks to a "private showing" in a cinema which was managed by Patrick brother, Tau.

These guys out there know how to party! Film was pretty good actually! Better than I thought it would be!

its so bad it makes the first 2 look like oscar winners, yea the cars are nice, and so is the females

 

but really its drifting with forrest gump and way to much cgi....dukes of hazzard is much better for stunt driving, and real driving

there was 2, maybe 3 good driving sequences, and that was it.

oh and after youve watched it all, then its just away to roll the end credits.....it sinks to an all time low

 

give me, cannonball run/smokey/dukes etc anyday over this utter pish

 

oh and also maybe we should all buy evos..as one takes impactswith barrels, pallets and a wall i think...not a scratch

Gona take my son to see this as he keeps going on about it.

It is a 12A rating which means can take him as he is only 7.

Think he holds the record for watching fast & furious / 2 fast 2 furious, must be well over 50 times he has watched both now, so i suppose i will have to buy tokyo drift once it is on DVD. Thats one xmas present sorted already!!!

I downloaded it and watched it last night.  CRAP!!!  Obviously did not have anywhere near the budget of previous two!

Dont waste your money!  Cars is really good though, Mark - your boy should like that.
