slowmo Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Just a question but although my login names says joined this month everybody knows i am and have been a member of kentscoobies since early 04, will my vote still count ???? Sam
HOL Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Sam, Speak to Tony. he will update you on the why's and where for's. (But not the whayheys and whooheys! [:$] ) Its best not to put any more about it on here, as everything has been stated already. [:|]
The Guru Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 This is all totally pathetic, if people have to add family members to bump up there favorite t-shirt colour, I as a founder member of KS do not want to be involved. I could easy do the same and get all my family to vote to bump up my chosen colour, BUT WHY! it's not right. It should be a simple vote and the end result WINS! not by cheating either. If this is the way things are to be played then potential sponsors of this club, who read this forum will be laughing at us and will prob take their sponsorship money elsewhere, if it continues. I don't think this will ever get sorted out even at the deadline of 10.00pm tonight. Which ever colour is the final winner will only be questioned by those who did not choose it, so I propose a truce ( a hope within chaos ). Home and Away shirts. If the Yellow wins then fine it's the Home shirt and if Grey wins then it's the away shirt or vice-versa, that way everbody will be happy to a degree! I know some of you will reply with a cost issue, but you will only have to buy your chosen colour Yellow/Grey ( or whatever are first and second ) and it could be worn to both Home and Away meets and events. IT'S ONLY A SUGGESTION THAT WILL SORT OUT ALL THE SCHOOLROOM BICKERING!

Cant we have yellow and grey stripes???? or a reversible rugby shirt.....or grey front and yellow back, or...... I have removed my sons vote as it is deemed by the club elders to be an unfair vote.....i hope the others follow suit. jon

I'v just started being a wee bit more prominent on the forum lately but I tell you what I am totally disillusioned already! [*-)] People should realise its the club thats more important, not the colour of a T-SHIRT! [Y]
The Guru Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 JK, well done, you know it makes sense. LOl's. I hope others follow suit as you said. Wee Jock, you are not the only one who is disillusioned at the mo. Arron.
tony_cousins Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Took my daughters vote off and spoken to Primo and Sam aka slowmo who have edited there posts for ya !!!!! Hope this is the right thing, already spoken to Andy this morning and he agreed that all wifes/sons/daighters and members who joined after the 9th May, there votes will not be included in the hope of fairness. Tony

tony_cousins Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Come on folks just a few more minutes before the 10pm deadline, place your votes and lets see what happens Tony
Pele Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Arron, a lot of what you just said I mentioned earlier in this thread with regards to Foxs reading this and I totally agree with what you are saying. Speaking of the two colours, I had a similar idea but didn't like to mention it as I always seem to get into trouble for trying to sort things out - hence me being a bit quiet on here lately [] Perhaps the two top colours could be chosen as home or away, with people choosing their preference out of the two? Anyway voting is now finished, and Andy will be doing the final count and announcing it tomorrow, so we will see what colour it is to be. Pele
The Guru Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Pele, I think the 2 colours is a good idea and it would mean members would still get their colour choice whether it be yellow or grey. The most important thing is we are all happy and agree on this long winded thread ( yippee ), and we all get to promote Kent Scoobies in all it coloured glory. The futures bright, the futures ???? Well done to all!
tony_cousins Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Lol silly thing is if we included all the people not allowed to vote the colour scheme would still have been NO 10 and then NO 1 !!!! Oh and the votes made but both Markie and Shrek will be counted as well. Thats not official though till Andy says so but we can all see the votes and can count lol But yipeeee its sorted now !!!!!! Cant wait to actually get one .......... Tony

HOL Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 All Votes now on their own thread, but my spelling is pants and I locked it by nistake and cannot edit them out! There is a matrix on there showing ALL votes including newbies and family members. Please have a look, but try not to make strange comparisons: What if only the guys had voted etc.....
granby Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 OK where do we go from here?, who is organising the purchase of charcoal t-shirts []

Pele Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 As we already have a t-shirt supplier, I'll give them a ring as Foxs want to see a sample before they make a decision on whether to sponsor the shirts, so a sample has to be done first. I will then start a new thread for the purchase of the t-shirts, but all money will be required up front as I don't have the available funds to pay first then collect the money - I'm still owed money from the last time we ordered t-shirts!!
