markie Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 When we decided to add Lin's choice of t/shirt did we think for 1 second it would cause such a comotion[] i mean come on she is an active member within the club, and as you know comes to most events. I can not see how this can cause such a problem, if she's to wear anything to represent the club & also have to pay for such then surley she's entitled to VOTE, now normaly i dont get into any conflict of diferences here as you all know but i won't sit back & be told or be blamed for FCUKING up the thread, if we indeed are going to start adding minors to the voting then my kids as members will be asked their vote & it will be duely added. Now can we please get back to what this thread is all about THE MEMBERS Rant over[] Mark
tony_cousins Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 No one is blaming anybody else, as usual its all blown out of control again !!! What ever is said some one will not agree and this will always happen, so no one is to blame ... Maybe were not ment to have a club shirt !!!!!
markie Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Yes i know i'm not to blame thats why i posted & i didn't think it would get blown out of control again!! so why did it get blown out of control ?? mark
baser999 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Call me cynical but has anyone else noticed all the new members that have suddenly appeared and voted - 3 of these have never posted before and a couple less than 6 times - and they have all voted for option 1 lol. Where have these people all come from?? Still, we've already been told we haven't got to wear the chosen colour. I think Daniel had the right idea and chose not to vote.
Nudge Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 hi boys.. i am one of these new members you are on about and have the utmost admiration for all scoobie owners... what difference does my choice of shirt colour matter to anyone, i chose on my personal preferenceas an individual. so come on give us newwies a break, we all gotta start somewhere. nigs
baser999 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 No problem with your vote Nudge m8 - you've posted on here more often than that.
markie Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Nudge this was about members partners getting a vote, not about newbies or anyone's post count[]
tony_cousins Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Baser, Vickyplum is my daughter and has been a member since I have, i have only done as asked and given her a user name so she can vote, as for other members who have voted some are old members who had problems with there login details and had to start again and some are new members. I think the real problem is that when one chosen colour gets ahead of another someone will always moan
Nudge Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 no worries mark/baser.. i was refering to basers previous post... hey.....i luv you guys[]
markie Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 Have no problem with which colour is in front at all, it was about Mrs markie being able to vote. Now that the sh!t has hit the fan its gone totaly childish and there for does not need our vote. We will wear our much cherished subaru t/shirts or our germany one's to any shows we go to from now on. And thats all i've got to say about that as forrest gump would say[]
tony_cousins Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 We love you too ya tart !!!!!!! Now wheres my keyring lol Tony
Nudge Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 i got 80 blanks made up, bring them all up when i come, just need engraving with whatever you want
tony_cousins Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Subaru colours are blue and yellow !!!! Why not have two colours of t shirt that can link our club together which would be Blue/yellow writing or Yellow with blue writing Then you have two colour choices that link us to subaru but will also link us as a group !!! Best of both worlds too i think What do you think about that folks, would mean we all look alike and you get the chioce of a dark or light t shirt !!!!! Tony Nudge I touch goats about keyrings lol
shrek Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Have no problem with which colour is in front at all, it was about Mrs markie being able to vote. Now that the sh!t has hit the fan its gone totaly childish and there for does not need our vote. We will wear our much cherished subaru t/shirts or our germany one's to any shows we go to from now on. Our thoughts entirely, we feel that we no longer want to vote! We have removed our vote.
tony_cousins Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Was only an idea Ian, just thought it might satisfy all those who want t shirts, giving the best of both worlds so to speak. I know most would wear one colour or the other lol just trying to be helpful Tony

Where have these people all come from?? Still, we've already been told we haven't got to wear the chosen colour. I think Daniel had the right idea and chose not to vote. Just to avoid any confusion, in May my four brothers all signed to S.I.D.C forums all owning scoobies, Between us we have 2 classic turbo's 1 classic sport, 1 bug eye and a 55 sti (very nice car). So far 3 have posted and said hi and a bit beside, The oldest one will not say Hi to kent scoobies yet as he feels it would be a bad time what with everything going on. I can give you all their forum names if required but i can assure any doubters that they are genuine members with cars to match. I think a lot of new people have said hi lately because the RBMR created a lot of interest, There i've had my say[] Feel loads better now. Night all.
Wee Jock Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 IMHO! You cant change the voting half way through, the rules should have been stipulated b4 you voted![:$] So you either scrap the vote and start again, the new rules specified so everyone is aware of whats goin on or you suck it and see! []
HOL Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 IMHO! You cant change the voting half way through, the rules should have been stipulated b4 you voted![:$] So you either scrap the vote and start again, the new rules specified so everyone is aware of whats goin on or you suck it and see! [] Stopping the vote does not work for me, but adding some obvious common sense does. this vote is a continuation of the first poll that was started on the 9th May. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/679038/ShowPost.aspx If you were registered before that date on the SIDC site in your current name and have a post count of more that '10' at that time, then I think you can vote. Otherwise your only contribution to the KS IS the vote which officially started on the 9th. If this excludes you I am sorry, but it is the only fair way to cut out all the problems associated with inactive members returning after a number of months and family friends. My family unit qualifies for 4 votes! - That just aint right. The only losers in this logic are those whose. old user names were lost when the BBS was upgraded. However, if you were really that interested, you would have been back before now. Sorry, but the 9th May, was the qualification date. And if we don't know you, ..........
leon Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 can i vote? any way i think every 1 who can vote should leave a £10 pound deposit if they want to vote and buy a shirt
