hi kids just joined up this morning, wondering if anyone can help me i bought a 93 imported wrx from a garage and 8 miles down the road it started blowing blue smoke and throwing oil out the dump valve and dipstick. i think its the turbo but im worried it maybe a piston gone that made the dipstick pop out. the cars going into japerformance in ellon to get checked out and fixed so ill be doing a write up on the lads work done to my car. anyways suggestions of the above problem would be much appreciated.

If it happened just after u bought the car m8, then i would think about taking it back to the garage

Sounds like back pressure mate caused by worn piston ring / nackered piston.I maybe wrong (hopefully for you) but as Dan says take it back to the garage you bought it from.If they start to mess you about contact Trading Standars and they'll help you out.Hope you get it sorted mate.

Had same problem with mine a few years back ...............result  im afraid it was a total engine rebuild , vey costly . But these things happen ,dont be put off m8.
