~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Folks, What an immense day ..........gutted I could not go further then Inverness but hey-ho. Many thanks to Callum and the RO's for their hardwork. Aviemore was a royal hoot with Scoobies going round in circles everywhere Followed Jools and managed to keep up despite being 100 bhp shy of him. Natalie was cackin' herself as we slid sideways a few times. The new brake set up worked damn well but eventually faded a tad towards Dufftoun... Anyway - there are 87 piccies in here. http://calum-shand.fotopic.net/ If anyone wants any removed them PM me and I will oblige. There are a few of the SIDC juniors in here so if any of the Dads wish them removed then again please holler. Never got my video camcorder set up in time which is a bummer but never mind Cheers Cal

sgscoobysti Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Nice photos Cal. What a great day. That was a great run over to Aviemore trying to keep up with you and jools. Your car must be set up well as I was struggling a bit with my STI. It did not help that my jerry can broke loose and was sliding all over the boot.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Shaun

scuba dou Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Great pictures there from everyone. What a great day out. Not bad considering I was only coming to Bucksburn to drop off a few gerry cans. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> One funny bit was Arlene phoning when we were North of Inverness by the side of the road and asking where Sinclair and I were, and to say dinner was nearly ready! “Well I’m close to a place that begins with Inver, but it’s not really Inveruire”…long silence. “So are you heading home soon?”…well….yea indirectly…via John O Groats came the reply! Must go battery is getting low on the mobile….(wink) Great run to Aviemore with Cal and co on the way up. Excellent driving with JohnS up front. Run home from JOG to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Inverness was just great with tiresequel on my tail. That was the best run I have had for a few years my friend and what an apt name you have…..enough said. Caught up with John & Shaun and then we were four! John and Sarah; must say your classic is one of the best looking motors of the day for me; the rear lights are so cool and the whole car looks just first class
