What gauges, need opinion.

right i'm in the first thoughts of getting the dash section from milsport that replaces the 2 vents above the heating controls, enables you to fit 3 gauges within the dash,

so..... i already have a boost gauge, do i get......oil temp, oil pressure, air / fuel ratio, water temp, volts, ect.....

I'm thinking air / fuel and oil pressue gauges to go with the boost gauge.

Any thoughts on what is most essential to keep an eye on the condition of the motor?

Thats going to look sweet mate. Not got a Milsport panel myself i'm not so sure they where available at the time. I contacted Teknopete and had a panal knocked up. With a bit more finishing my end and a graphite gray spay applied i'm really pleased with the end result. Subtle.

My gauges by the way Oil Px, Oil temp, boost...........any more infomation is all on the commander.

that looks the nuts, blimey, how many gauges?!....trouble i have at the mo is that i got a top dash pod, and made a lovely hole to get all the bits through!.......need to cover the hole up!

Just a suggestion mate, but if you got the Defi-Link Control Unit (& gauges), it has a differential pressure warning light.

" Differential pressure between fuel pressure and turbo can be shown if both of fuel pressure meter and turbo meter are installed"

i see that ad in the group buy section and had a look, to match my existing gauge they are £19.99 each or £44 for the fuel/air. i may only need 2, and probably the sandwich plate........so might as well do that and all that i need for less than £100!!!

yeh i think that's what i'll go for, boost, oil press & temp. got some good advice from andy today and made my mind up, and a nice set up there with the defi's[]
