st3ph3n Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Anyone heard from Billy recently? I'm not sure if I'm registered to take part in the RB Relay or not! I've certainly not paid him the entry fee but I did tell him I wanted registered. Don't want to miss out on it. And are we having a meeting before the end of the month to sort out what we're doing for it? I'll be at Kames on the Saturday night but I'm planning on doing some of the journey the next day too. Maybe to Aviemore as I know Wilky needs a show of support.
Gumball Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I think Billy is working on the day so perhaps we should go to Kames on teh Saturday afternoon or night and either stay or muster again on the sunday morning at Kames and drive with the relay to Stirling or further perhaps? The problem seems to be the stickers that are required for the entry. I dont have one either.
irish al Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 So what/who will the relay consist off ? Who is actually going to drive up to the very top and who is goung down to met the relay at the borders??
oobster Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I'm hoping to travell down to Kaimes early doors on the Sunday morning, and travel with the convoy up to Perth maybe? or perhaps Pitlochry? Maybe further, will decide at the time probably.
st3ph3n Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 My understanding is that you need to register interest with your RO so you can buy an official relay sticker for your car so you can take part. I guess you chaps would need to speak to spooks?
Gumball Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 maybe we should speak to the man on the moon[:|] ive more chance of getting a sticker now if i throw shite at the moon for a few hours. Maybe ill win a prize...........a sticker. Then i can take part in the relay that Callum has so cleverly organised Goat wishes Gumball
G.T. Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 del posted up last week about the stickers i ordered mine through him 5 quid and your reg was all that was needed dunno how you will get one now though maybe a nice ro will come along and clarify this for us

ed-209 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I registered and paid ( as did a few other people ) with Billy at the RB Meal at Peters just waiting on the stickers now . I have already PM Billy and got a reply So as far as I know things are all systems go. Ed
st3ph3n Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 I pmed or emailed Billy about it after that thread was posted. Wasn't at the meal or the last meet to get things sorted.
G.T. Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 i was at the meal and heard nothing about it till the thread
gus the bus Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I'm hoping to travell down to Kaimes early doors on the Sunday morning, and travel with the convoy up to Perth maybe? or perhaps Pitlochry? Maybe further, will decide at the time probably. At the Lothians meeting we were talking about meeting @ the LIDL carpark in Whitburn and convoy to Kaimes from there. I just canny mind what time Spooks said![:$] spooks? Gus
micra_wrc Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Couldnt add my name to the Glasgow list at Peter's charity meal night as i wasnt sure if i'd have my car by then. I PM'd Billy after Del posted up the reminder to register and was told to contact Blue Boy direct (I assumed that Billy had already sent the Glasgow register of participants to Blue Boy before the deadline) I posted a cheque to Blue Boy with my car details and as far as I know my stickers will be included in the pack that will be sent to Billy for distribution. I'm working on the Sat night of the relay so am planning to join the convoy on Sunday, either at Kames (depending what time i get out my bed []) or en route when the convoy hits the M73. Will prob peel off around Perth, grab a bite and head home - doubt I'll be going as far north as Inverness. imy
