Fee Posted May 10, 2006 Author Posted May 10, 2006 It must sense when you should be allowed to use bad words hehe! I say this is definitely an occasion for some swearing to be allowed
darryll Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Buy a big dirty disk lock for the steering wheel, trust me car theifs would move on to something a little bit easier rather than wrestle wi that.well i would move on anyway thats if i was a car thief [A].and if i was u would be busing it to work tomorrow looks more like stupid amature job scoobs r so easy to get in to as with most cars.
ormiboy Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Bad news fee, there are a fair few shatbags floating round edinburgh. Im moving back into edinburgh myself in the next couple of months. Looks like ill be lowering the rev limiter on the apexi every evening then, not had to worry about this sort of stuff for a while. On the up side i will be living just round the corner from a cop shop but i doubt that would make much difference. Hope its not too pricy to fix.
Fee Posted May 11, 2006 Author Posted May 11, 2006 Went round a couple of places this morning since I'm not in work....got quoted £160 from one place for the pillar, door and handle which isn't too bad I suppose...more than I want to be paying, but shit happens eh! Will sort out the lock at a later stage Got a big metal steering lock bar last night, which might put them off a bit, if not I can donk them with it, and found the wee window stickers which came with my alarm so slapped them on!!! hehe...anything to help at the moment! I've ordered an attachment for my alarm...which basically starts a warning chirp if anyone comes close to my car and sets the full alarm off if anyone touches it...usually I would think that these alarms are a bit excessive.....but 3 ****ing break in attempts!!!! Aaaaarrggghhhh
ScoobyAndy Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 [:@] ******* scumbags! Hope you manage to get it sorted up soon and that the theiving little ******* get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time very soon. Maybe we all need to get some South African security devices fitted? []
ScoobyAndy Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Easiest way to sort this is take away the temptation i.e use your lockup and get a pushbike to travel to and from. All manner of gadgets and gucci items are all well and good but what happens if you get all this then get the chance of a confrontation (which is pretty likely looking at police response times), Are you gonna square up to someone weilding a screw driver or iron bar........silly if you do!!! Remove the temptation is the way ahead. [] Or find someone you know with a shotgun [] p.s iam free most nights
RA Dunk Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 buy a couple of bit bulls and leave em in the car (unfed) overnight problem solved lol []
