1488 Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 I must have about £200 in change, all mixed up in an water cooler jar, it weighs a ton but I can't be arsed to count it all out and put it in those stupid little plastic bags from the bank. I'm sure I've heard someone say theres a supermarket somewhere with a machine that sorts and counts it for you, for a small percentage. Anyone know where there is one. Plus i could do with some survival tips as I've never been in a supermarket before and I'm a bit woried.
ukscoob Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 some asdas have them... as for survival tips there are none its everyone for them self in them places[]
robert_harding Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 count it yourself you lazy bugger[] or brind to our next meet, and im sure someone will count it for you...for a charge/donation to the RBMR fund.[]
ayde Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Asda usually has them - think they are called "coin star" it prints you a voucher that you can either use for shopping (think there is no charge for this IIRC) or you can cash it in and they take a percentage.
Diablo Blaze Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 ayde is right, coin stars are a ace bit of kit. Just take your ticket to Customer Services and exchange it for cold hard ca$h.
dave_thorbinson Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Most of the Tescos I've been in recently have them. The machines charge 7.5% IIRC.
