scoobykev Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 New Subaru Dealership coming back into perth, John R Weir in Inveralmond ind est. I think they're already there with merc, on the road into AWD. Kev
jcscoob Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Heard it on the radio not sure if it will be a good or a bad thing for AWD ![8-)]
dougster Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I can just see Swanie standing outside wearing a sandwich board with AWD's details and 'will work for food' on it and pointing frantically down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [][][][]

paddy247 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Im sure and hope, with the 2 units being so close together it will increase the profile and awarness of AWD.
scott_coull Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I think it will be a good thing, dealers are not so keen on using non Subaru parts ie aftermarket exhausts etc so when people find out AWD are just up the road then im sure they won't think twice about popping in. Also convienient for genuine subaru order only parts aswell.
paul_young2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I am sure it will a good thing ! Funny thing i was washing the car yesterday when a passerby stopped to admire the scooby,he used to sell them a few years ago in Perth and was saying that after Aberdeen they were next top selling dealer in the UK.(he said they sold themselves). He still loves them though he,s getting on a bit, and said they need a good BLAST every now and then to keep them running sweet. So you now what to DO !! (but don,t get caught.)
dipsy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 John R Weir are not very good with serviceing and customer care and workmanship it not up to much .I have seen there work because my Farther has a mercedes car and van .He got paint job done by them it came back worse and that was warranty work and bought his first van that was meant to have been serviced and he got it home and had a look at the air filter and there was straw in the airbox ie Perth and Dundee
Bing Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Spoke to JW and there will be a good discount on parts however[H]
