funny that....

a flange was cut off my £500 ceramic coated manifold, to weld the manifold to the system. Nice and simple to remove now! Not.

Russ/Gav - any chance of having flanges welded on here like i thought we talked about?

You wont get any joy e-mailing them. I never did. They still owe me a boost gauge.

I have a fully sleeved WP special. Really handy for fitting the flanged centre cat come mot time...

Dont get me started.

I haven't even left a message (just my number in his missed calls list) and he's rang me back. I'd just keep on trying until he answers. He even has a secretary to help answering the phone now too!

Please drop in whenever it suits you, I am still at work now and am here from 8.30am to midnight most weeknights.

As such I don't have time to check forums frequently, and I'm sorry but we don't conduct business on here.

Please come in or call anytime, and I would estimate that 95% of emails are answered. I am sorry if we have missed your email. I would imagine that more than 99% of telephone calls are answered, and as mentioned we are employing more staff to help deal with these issues. Unfortunately we are victims of our own success - we are very busy.

Exhausts. Customers are always asked if they have any particular requirements when a car is booked in. Flanges are only removed after a customers go-ahead, and that was the case with your car Adam. If you are unhappy please call me to discuss what we can do to rectify this. I think it is a little unfair if you are blaming us for the knocklink not working. It was a an already compromised 2nd hand part you gave us to do nothing more than fit, and it was working when the car left here.

If you feel agrieved Craig, please book your car in and allow us to resolve any issues, including refitting flanges if that is what you choose.  We will do our best to fit you in as soon as we can, but please be aware we do have lots of advance bookings. We cannot drop other customers tomorrow, we might end up on a forum getting slagged off! [8-)]

Iain, we have plenty of other boost gauges available to you , but as I explained the gauge you has not proved simple to get hold of again. You will know it was not a common boost gauge. Please come in some time and take your pick or order whatever takes your fancy.

I understand why you are not happy.

You will probably also understand why to me this thread appears to be "slagging".

I have said above that we have lots of advance bookings, but please call tomorrow and we will do our best to fit you in asap. Tel. no. is 01224 708444. Thanks.

Russ - I gave the go-ahead because you said 'and weld on a new one' LOL

I should be back in UK in a week or so, we can take it from there.

Ok, thanks Adam, sorry if there has been a misunderstanding. As you know it's not like we can ask you to nip round and clear something with us! IIRC the flange on your new downpipe was a mile away from you old system, in length and alignment.

We'll do our best to sort it to your satisfaction. We have a very experienced exhaust builder back on board.
