gus the bus Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Cheers Chrissy, I'm seeing Gav the morra/Tuesday to pic up wheels so I'll ask him then. Forgot they had the 06 graffixed up too! Gus
scoobyseller555 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 we use company called albany graphics in carlisle,Morris who owns the company and two of his crew come up and do the graphics for us,3 hours later, rally replica, and £500 lighter(seems expensive but i have seen him apply the vinyl and it aint easy....)first class job! Gav
ed-209 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Contacted Elephant to advise them that the old decals where getting removed and replaced with dayglow, Was informed that would add £47.11 to my policy as it counts as a bodywork modification, so I got them to add the front spoiler, the roof spoiler(on it's way a'la 2006 version) and replacement exhaust system not just back box. total addition was £52.00 inc the orginal £47 increase (crazy) so it's cheaper to declare everything at the one go even if it's not fitted yet. Ed.
gus the bus Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Ed, thats what I did when I contacted Admiral. Added all the mods current and future at once and cost pennies! Might just wait until renewal time and it will cost me feck all[]

G.T. Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 although the wrc graphics look good i dont think i could have them on my car for any length of time, bit like having a yellow car seems a good idea at the time but the novelty would wear off after a little while just my opinion thats all before you all start
fraser_allan Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Gus i think you should go for cheeper ones first then if you dont like youve only lost 2 tanks of OPTIMAX, Fraz.

gus the bus Posted March 14, 2006 Author Posted March 14, 2006 Brian thanks for the pics! Well nice. If you get the chance to get me a quote that would be great bud[] I do love the graphics just canny make up my mind about going the full monty . Ther big question is could I live with it???. decisions, decisions, decisions. Gus[8-)]
rallye6 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Gus to be honest it looks good, but it does attract a lot of attention "not always welcome" you can't leave the car anywhere without kids gathering around it. that was always a worry for me. brian[H]
turbo Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 OMG!!! WTF has happened to the large swoosh? the stars should have a nice 'blue' oval around them, that swoosh is totally f'd up!!! I do the rally graphics and i am a perfectionist, my stickers that i supply are perfect reproductions of the actual WRC graphics (i cannot disclose where i got them) but they are identical. I have done Tiny's / Robroy / Phil Stephens (to name a few) cars as well as supplying many other kits for a lot of the SIDC / SN community. I hate seeing people selling dodgy copies cos the subaru owner aint gettin the proper look.
turbo Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I can vouch for Underground. did u fit the stickers or did they?
ed-209 Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I already had a full decal set in standard yellow, got underground to replaced all the yellow decals with dayglow on a supply and fit basis. the top couple on the door stack are smaller than normal because I have a 06 type roof spoiler to fit still and did not want it going over the top decals. the Aplinestars on the spoiler and scoop where my idea along with the tyre psi's I did not want it to be an exact copy but more of a "in the style off".
