atmospheric or recirculating dumpvalve?????

if you want the skooosh sound go for the atmosphric if you like thing a little more sutble go for the recirc.

have tried both on the wifes wrx bug eye with no probs and i could'nt tell the differance in performance running a recirc now as she hates the noise

have an atmosphric on my MY 03 sti cause a like to pose .

A recirculating one m8 put the gases back into the turbo when you take your foot off and a vent one put it into the atmosphere....im running a vent one and have for about 6 months with no problems but there is storys off them making the car run rich........ps the best perfromance can be gain by not running one at all like the wrc cars but you will be replacing your turbo every 6 months lol

I have a forge motorsport dump valve ( atmospheric), the noise is great, and seemed to pick the car up, I put the standard one back on to clean the forge, and the car did not feel the same between gears??? I know that they are not meant to make any difference, but just going by my experience!

I would say the same, my gears changes fell smoother....but i thought i had just imagained it
