I don't really expect too many people to give two hoots, but I didn't wan't to just disappear.

I have decided to take a long break from forums and focus more on work/life/family. I know it's just a forum, but the little free time I do have in a day (due to my business mainly) will be spent on the aforementioned things. I may still attend some meets, I'll see how things go.

Just thought I should let you know.

Sorry to hear your leaving mate, but like you say family is alot more important and i know you dont get alot of spare time so it only wise that now you want to be with your family. []

Seriously though, my wife has been somewhat disowned over the last couple of months and my mind has not been completely focused on my business either, hence the reason I have posted this thread. It is soooo easy to spend a few hours browsing sidc, where they hours could be spent doing something slighly more productive. So I came to the conclusion that I would avoid forums in general for the next 1-2 months to get everything else sorted out. Seems silly, I know, but it's the best option for me.

I can see why and what your doing and i have experienced what your trying to avoid first hand. now i mod, think scoobs, talk scoobs and drive it and go to work. thats it other than the odd swally session/night out now and again and is something having learnt the hard way that you need to deal with before you end up horsed out and divorced for being on the pc all the time.

unless you can get the balance i suppose your better just going to the odd meet/event and staying off the pc.

Sorry to hear that Neil, but I can totally appreciate where you're coming from. It's a fun place to be, but time vanishes pretty quick in here !!  Pop in from time to time to say hi though - wouldn't want you to miss the next kart meet ! It would nearly half the number of sidc entries !! []

One thing before you reduce your hours though .... you'll need to give someone else some photoshop lessons !!! []
