fai17 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 << a leon cuprs r colin thats what i had before the scoob kinda wish i still did sometimes >> I don't think so because once you get used to 4 wheel drive anythings just wheels spins away. My m8 got a Red Leon Cupra with Star Performance map and it just can't put the power down where as i 'm away already.
G.T. Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 peter is his a cupra or cupra r my cupra r didnt struggle for traction very often will admit to haveing not as much grip as the subaru though
colinj Posted January 10, 2006 Author Posted January 10, 2006 Nice cars the leon I must admit....& the saab, but not for me!! Another option was a Mk4 Golf GT TDi! I like the looks of the BMW more so seeing this isnt going to be a performance buy the bmw leads the way just now!!
G.T. Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 ooooh an oil burner dont do it go for a beemer my mates wee brother just bought a 330csi coupe very tasty was 19k for an 02 mind you
dave_morgan Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 What about an Audi A4. I'm not a big beemer fan and would go for Audi first every time to be honest. Good range of petrol and diesel engines too.. Just my preference!
st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Buy a VW instead of an Audi. The Passat diesels are well specced and very nice to drive. Less than the Audis too.
ScoobyAndy Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 << Buy a VW instead of an Audi. The Passat diesels are well specced and very nice to drive. dave_morgan Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Good point. I only mention the Audi as it has a better range of 4wd options than VW. If I move away from Subaru, it's likely to be to a quattro I think. Passat is an excelletn car though - my parents are on their 4th !!
terminator Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I would love a bmw 745 in black with 20" chromes or a chrystler 300c in black with 20s.would settle for a lexus gs300 heavily modified.
ScoobyAndy Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 << Thats all true.. but do you like working airbags?? >> If anyone would like to know what that comments about pm me to ask. Iam not posting over the forum for various reasons
