dougster Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Did you park up at the bottom of the hill? I stay 2 minutes away and have the key to the gates as our fishing club water is up that track. Even have a nice Specialized Epic Disc that I take up there for a bit of goat spotting.

st3ph3n Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Last time I was on a bike I ended up with a bruise on my leg that was about 6 inches by 6 inches. Then a few times before that I was doing endos and ended up with a smashed growth plate on my left arm. I used to be really into mountain biking when I was a kid, but then my metabolism stopped.

Yous may think it's leasurely....well i had to walk about 20 mins to the mark going down muddy hill,across fields,across peebles,across stones climb slippery big F off rock and rock fish for a few hours then go back the same route with 20lbs of fish over shoulder and all your rods and tackle and ruck sack.Feck i'm tired thinking about already as i'm just back plus 2 hours drive back in my VW Sharan!!Slow CAR. The place was called USAN.
