IanJ Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Call me an old cynic but , how can he really do this? Click here for cheaper petrol.
wrxmania Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 It'll need a LOT of people to make it nationwide - and may take a LONG time. Also, the biggest part of fuel cost is tax, the profit is not that huge so you may, at best only save 5p per litre... Brian
dave_morgan Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 5p a litre is better in our pockets than Shell's though if you ask me!
gus the bus Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I've registered! worth giving it a go me thinks!
wrxmania Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Gus, Did you buy the front splitter from Subaru @ Ian Grieve??? Mine is in being painted at the moment and should be fitted on my car VERY shortly Brian
dave_morgan Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 P1's going great. Got a puncture just before Christmas, but got a new tyre fitted yesterday, so all is well. I'm doing a few 'tweaks' to the Skyline at the moment, so it's not on the road, but should be in the next month or so. Watch this space How about you and yours?
dave_morgan Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 << Owned for 27 months and still nearly standard - is that a miracle? >> I think I beat you there.. unless you count a dump valve, 19's and a samco hose??
gus the bus Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 << Gus, Did you buy the front splitter from Subaru @ Ian Grieve??? Getting them painted (along with my new spoiler) @ Stevie's (Walker) in the next couple of weeks. Although, I'm liking my Sti corner splitters so might just get a splitter to match that and sell the Subaru one on Gus PS this Fuel thing seems a good bet. I just got an e-mail back from the Guy so, worth it for the price of an e-mail.

They not count. My car going well - in for the unfaultable gearbox complaint at the moment and getting a Prodrive front splitter fitted, so should look the business. Brakes shortly I hope and, if that happens, new wheels too - not ridiculously big 19's though!!!!! Nice P1 just sold at Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk. Who eventually did you engine rebuild? Brian
dave_morgan Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Oh yeah, forgot about the brakes!! Ok, maybe not that standard after all !!! Surprised they weren't blamed for my head gasket going as well !!!!
wrxmania Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I thought they were - totally ridiculous!! That really was taking it WAY to far You sellin the AP's? Brian
dave_morgan Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 << That really was taking it WAY to far You sellin the AP's? >> Never!! If I sell the P1, I'll fit them to the GTR (or whatever I get next )
