malky Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Has anyone bought any cars from here? I have seen a few that I like but before I travel down from Scotland I was wondering what they were like to deal with. Any advise would be much appreciated.
cw42 Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 stear well clear malky, they are from all accounts well dodgy. My tyre fitters brother and sister have both had cars off them, and both had a lot of trouble with the cars after purchase. His sister bought an evo 5, which turned out to have broken rear suspension! The cars are cheap for a reason, you gets what you pays for Do a search on scoobynet for them, and you can read some other nice stories about thier practises. Chris.
rasher Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 yep steal well clear they even advertise cars that are not actually the model they say THere are numerous threads on Scoobynet about them mate, just do a search Just seen Chris's thread about Scoobynet
rasher Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 << Wicked Kit are supposed to be reasonable. >> they are not the cheapest around, I bought the S202 from them, but their presentation of the cars is second to none
rasher Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 What models are you looking at mate??? Have a look here

Little H Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 mixture of feed back but mostly negative...
sion_davies Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I went there when I was first looking for a Scooby. travelled from N.Wales and it was a total waste of time.Around the back was a load of cars all bashed in and these blokes was working on some others,so not sure if they import damage ones and then repair them or what but none of the ones on the website matched the cars that were there. The wife and kids were not happy and got ear ache all the way back.
lee_wilson Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 steer well clear , i too went to have a look and they have a big selection of abused cars!! if you wanted a standard example thre are non , they`ve all had guages etc, added here there and everywhere. not the sort of people you would want to hand over your hard earned to!
ajjprodrive Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 mate of mine bought an Evo off them. Well dodgy. Not the car he thought he was buying. BEWARE
