About cw42

  1. BTTT for this one, only 18 days to go. Get your names down on the main list on scoobynet here: http://bbs.scoobynet.com/northern-england-...on-raceway.html Are the CADS coming up in force and getting the famous Gazebo out?
  2. You're welcome Jonah. I expect a big turnout from the CADS on this Check out the film I've posted this morning, shot a few weeks ago when I first went up there
  3. You are all invited to attend the SMACS SUMMER FUN DAY at Buxton Raceway in the High Peak. http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=...4|BUXTON|Buxton The event will cost £15 per car, with unlimited access to the circuit, childrens activities, traders, show & shine competition and much more. The fun starts at 10pm and finishes at 5pm. Bring all your club members up to sunny Buxton Raceway for the scooby event of the North West. Invites are going out to yourselves, LADS, WYIOCS, SSC and MIDLAND SCOOBYS and I'm also opening the day to members of the PISTONHEADS forum in the North West area. I've been up a few times to scout out the venue, and I can honestly say it's going to be a great place to hold a bbq. There is plenty of room for all the clubs to have their own areas, although we're not doing any stand competitions. You'll also be able to go on track whenever you like, just join the queue Film of my car checking out the circuit: http://www.scoobysmacs.co.uk/Videos/BuxtonRaceway.wmv (16mb wmv file) Some pictures of the venue; Firstly taken from "live search" to show the size of the place: A view of where everyone could go: Some panoramas taken today to show how many can actually fit in. Round the track: and the pit area: See you all on the 26th [] Get your name on the scoobynet thread if you're coming along [] http://bbs.scoobynet.com/northern-21/60925...tml#post6964060
  4. Ace picture, mine takes pride of place in the lounge Pity more of the cads couldn't have come to the rr on the day, or at least those that said they were coming at least make their excuses!
  5. Does that mean you didn't enjoy the SMACS meeting [] Glad you and Bob are goining to resolve the issues. Martin, I think this means Warbys been rejuvinated by the SMACS meet All the best to you Pete, think we'll have to come visit you next month
  6. Nice to meet you today Jenni at Prosport, hope Pete and the boys have got your car sorted sweet Hope to see you again soon on one of our meets?
  7. Hope you have a good meet you guys and gals, looks like your going to get a good turnout I'm just popping up to say don't forget to take your cash or card with you, because once you've had a go of Graham's CG-LOCK equipped car, you'll be wanting to buy one Thanks to you guys for the heads up on this product, and to Graham for kindly demonstrating it last night to the SMACS group. Definatly recommended. We had some of you chaps over here last night too, and your more than welcome to come again in the future We also had stickystuff from the WYIOC and CHEESY from the almost defunct South Yorkshire Scoobys. We've been in talks with the WYIOC for a mid-month, mid-week meet probably sometime in March, I'll let you know some details nearer the time, but meeting place could be the SNAKE PASS INN in Derbyshire See you all soon, chris.
  8. Ok richard, sounds good to me, I'll email everyone thats coming, and get back in touch with you, thanks, Chris. ps, what is the food?
  9. hello all, and thanks to richard for pointing this area out to me I've posted the original thread in the iom 2006 area, doh! Anyway, we're coming over on Friday 14th April and we're all staying at the Hilton (we're all well loaded from scoobynet ) So far, we've got a total of 28 people coming over, which includes partners and kids! I'm under the impression that most of us are coming over on the dinnertime ferry from Liverpool, and going back on the bank holiday monday at the same time. We are looking to drive all of your best roads in the time over there, so were not afraid to go out at night, or early morning to do that. In fact, the saturday morning has been suggested that we leave the partners and kids at the hotel, and go for a blast first thing Were all really looking forward to meeting you guys over there, and hope you can show us all a good time. A number of us have booked into the Hilton room only, so we'd be looking for places to eat in the evening, that would do you proud, I'm sure you know somewhere See you in April, Chris.
  10. thanks m&g, all signed up, and forwarded to everyone going on this trip.
  11. hehe, thanks mean&green, when I booked the ferry, I entered the comp to win a free crossing, unfortunatly not on easter weekend though chris.
