Taxed the Scooby yesterday and popped along to RAde meet at Curborough

Just been going back through some old posts and found these 😂

Look forward to getting to some shows/ meets with SIDC Used to get to a local meet Northwich way @ the Riverside Inn Used to go some Stoke way aswell as shows. Need to renew my membership, it’s alittle retro/ out of date

Not been on here for many many years Was on the original SIDC forum & Scoobynet. Used to have this MY00 Uk Turbo back in 2003-2005 2005-2007 I upgraded to a MY98 Type R Ended up with a EJ22T 2.35 in, all built up in my parents living room 😂 Sold it in 2007 to get onto the property market… Ended up going back to Ford Orions. Built this one over a few years, carried on upgrading when possible, 313.5bhp/ 321trq I’ve always stayed in contact with the guy I sold the Type R too, last year I decided it was time to part with the Orion and ended up buying back my old Type R

My engine is a EJ22t...[H] ( 2.35 with a few mods ) The EJ2... stamping can be found near the oil pressure switch, behind the alternator...[]

I'll be attending this if I still have the Type R...[H] Its a nice local meet lol I have heard Crewe's Halfords have helped Crewe Cruize organise a Modified Show and shine event ( by handing out leaflets at their stores ), on the Crewe Alex football ground car park on Sunday 12 August 2007... Starts 12pm, finishes 5pm... Its £2 a car to get in... and all money raised goes to the local Air Ambulance fund... Its all just abit of fun, and for a good cause... Just though maybe worth a mention, and hope some of you may turn up... When I find out some more details, I will post them up here... Do any of the CADS members think this would be worth a post in the events section??? Do any of you think you'll be able to make this?
