used to be able to have little sprints round the park up to hamilton and back down to the park,

those were the days.

That was like 1990's... boy I am getting old. I'm starting to sound like my dad.... I remember in my day it wasn't like that.

Deary me that was some time ago.

One of the instructors on the rally school at KH described a hill climb/sprint at the park to me. He did that whilst piloting the car back down the rally course at a speed that was quite frankly scary. So I don't really remember much of it

i remember the days where strathclyde park was used for hill clinbs and sprints .................... they lost the park due to the cars getting too quick.

i was privelaged enough to join the same company 14 years later and trooped their colour 15 years to the day at the queens birthday parade.

the pipes played as we marched onto horse guards parade in our ceremonial dress with soldiers marching next to me that were in the battle 15 years before.

makes the hairs on your bearksin stand on end !!
