paul_honthy Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 some what confused here folk so any help would be appreciated looking 4 a decent exhaust but been told that if fitted ill need a remap.i was also told that the sti3 ecu in unreprogrammable so would need a new ecu!!?? if that is the case would an Apexi AFC be suffiecent?? if this seems like a daft question sorry but determind 2 make sure my motors running as health and safe as possible. cheers 4 any help.

the squiggle Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 The 97 and 98 cars were the only ones that you cannot remap the original ECU An item like the Apexi S-AFC would need properly installed and setup by an expert, AndyF, to get the best results from the unit One of the most powerful/torquey cars the Subaru built was the STI3 Grant edited to add not on the end of can as it was like totally wrong like
