st3ph3n Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Firstly, I find car insurance companies for one gendre highly offensive. Are we equal or not? But more importantly - why is an advert for an Australian car insurance company using a left hooker? Like the rest of the non-napoleonic converts the Aussies drive on the left with Right hand drive. Secondly - why does most of the footage in the advert show the car travelling backwards. Rant over.
G.T. Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 what you doin lookin at aussie insurance adverts stephen, i hope you feel better after getting that off your chest p.s how you getting on with your gloves
SEEVERS Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 That's right i forgot about the gloves thread Very kinky....LOL Just kiddin mate Del.
st3ph3n Posted December 1, 2005 Author Posted December 1, 2005 You must have seen the advert! It's the most infuriating thing on the telly.
G.T. Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 no have not thats why i was askin i do dislike that diamond car insurance for women
briforbes Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Makes me a bit mad too - feminists/women never pipe down about equal rights, equal pay, equal this, equal that.......then we get bombarded with car insurance ads from the likes of 'Diamond' and 'Sheila's Wheels' (Sheila's Wheels FFS - are they mad?!) who only insure women because they are safer drivers than men. Pfff....
2559B Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Phone for a quote & when they give you the " WE ONLY INSURE WOMEN DRIVERS " pi$h ......... tell them you're gonna sue for sexual discrimination !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
colinj Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 F**king shocking if you ask me!! Imagine if there was an insurance company for 'whites' only because they drive best - there would be an uproar about racism!! Surely they cant get away with discriminating the male sex in the same way!! Im gonna phone up & tell them ive had a gender swap (he to ---> she) see if they will quote me
Fee Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Colin...you are a big girl Surely that's the same for age limited insurance companies too
ian_finlayson Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 I dont mind them paying less as long as there are certain constraints on their driving 1 keep out of car parks, especially those with the concrete posts they cannot seem to be able to see 2 do not attempt parallel parking. 3 Keep out of all parking spaces less than 3 car lengths long 4 stay out of chelsea tractors and smaller copies of such (ie rav4) 5 stay away from busy junctions where you have to pull out quickly and join traffic flow. Only joking ladies by the way.
