I'll be ..............er............... washing my hair. Will book it in for the 32nd of Julember ......... How's that ???
st3ph3n Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I often wash mine on a Friday lunch time with the pressure washer at work, then wash it again on the Saturday or Sunday with the hose + swissol goodies. It's really needing some wax again to keep it safe for the winter, but its hard to bring myself to do it when I know it will be dirty as ever after 20 minutes on the roads.
pink pepper Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 i don't get a chance to wash the car's - ally's always out washing them, as the neighbours say "he'll wash away that car" personally hate a dirty car - inside or out...... so ally's obsession for the car cleaning is fine with me!! (ally uses meguiars, meguiars and more meguiars btw) Vicki as for interior cleaner - i just use an antibacterial spray and a microfibre cloth i'm the same, don't like it when its all shiney and slidey inside
oobster Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I use Pledge. Shifts, Shields and Shines in Sheconds
craig mac Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Yesh Mish Money Penny Pledge does the trick
gus the bus Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Well, I'm disgusted to say that I haven't washed the car since Sunday (yes Oobster and Irish Al its true Mr Gleeming has left his car DIRTY!!!) I've been v.busy since then and would rather leave it that way than any half-hearted "av missed a bit" effort. Will give it extra double special treatment on Seturday just to make up Gus
john_robertson Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 << Swissol is THE BUSINESS - best purchase I made 2 years ago for my Impreza - still loads left and half the wax too and it has been applied a dozen plus times easily. Also use Meguairs, BUT it is NOT as good for a black car as Swissol - leaves oily mess in the reflection (I am talking about NXT was here compared to Swissol Samurai wax - maybe an unfair comparison). And the only problem with products like Turtle Wax and Autoglym is they are polishes, not waxes and as such lightly cut the paint and are clay based so leave black rubber trim etc with white streaks - none of that from Swissol. MUCH easier to apply and remove. NXT on my silver car and the wife's though is fine. Works even better on my guitars and my amp Brian >> MMMmmmm always fancied the Swissol but couldn't justify it, can't say my Black STi looks any worse for the applications of Meg's NXT John.
