First thing I did was email my folks and my sister. My folks because they bought me the stuff featured that I'd long since forgotten about and my sister because it was her "Girls World" I took outside and played "Sniper" with my air rifle face-icon-small-blush.gif

There's a "Merlin" lying somewhere at my folks. God knows if it would work after all this time. I remember our neighbours have TCR Truck Racing and you could change lanes. You couldn't do that on my Scalectrix.

I had a 2 x TR7, Pontiac fire bird and some mad zig zag JAM car on Total Control Racing.

Scalextric are only now getting the hand of it with their digital racing. (or so I'm told)

Some of that is a bit before my time, but some of it brings back lovely memories.

I'm still young enough to be able to own some of these things and nearly get away with it.

One thing I do have is an original rubber keyboard (SAY TO THORIN "CARRY ME") Spectrum 48k that's never been out of its box. That should be worth more than the £50 quid paid in the late 80's.

My 128K went to the childrens home I think. It only worked if you lodged a bit of lego where the DC power source went in. That was after I dropped it one day.

There's great money in old crap on ebay. People will literally buy anything.

Lego. Now there's the ultimate in creativity.....until you stood on a piece in your bare feet.

Can't believe I saw this thread. I was having a wee surf around yesterday morning and was looking at that very site. Great minds etc...

One that isn't there that was my fave was a thing called 'Stock Car Smash Up'.

Two cars that had funny cord things you pulled to get them going and when they crashed into each other the wheels, doors etc flew off. Brilliant fun. Maybe explains why I've watched the stockies at Cowdie for the past twenty years.

I never had any of them when i was young living in a wee village in hong kong.

We played with fire crackers instead.

Stick fire crackers in cow dung then blow the turd up.Remember them Imy?
