I appreciate the support, as do the ROs who do a thankless task but still get attacked at any opportunity by members (or USERS) with nothing better to do.

I've gotta say that I think the moderator on this forum ( Dougster ) does a FANTASTIC job. As for the RO's, they also give up their spare-time & I'm sure everyone appreciates what they do fir SIDC & Scottish Scoobies !!!

I agree, got to say a big thankyou to dougster as he stopped me cancelling my membership last night.

While talking to him on msn i mentioned that my membership was due for renewal soon and due to all the petty sniping and moaning there has been over the last few months i wasn't going to renew it. He then remindeed me what the club was really about and why i joined it in the first place (track discounts) lol, and convinced me to renew.

This is from a guy who gets no (or very little) thanks, and usually lots of hassle from peeps for going out of his way to moderate these forums as best he can. He is also very passionate about his scoobs even though he is having to part with his own.

I think that everyone who Knows me , knows that I wasnt paying Dougster a compliment for moderating on the forum but was mearly being the sarcastic big B..tard that I am. . The R.o's that I've spoken to recently seemed extremely unenthusiastic about the support they are being given by members , committee etc. and if everyone is honest most of the members (not newbees ) feel the same . The local meets are the place to voice opinions etc. Go along to your local meet , support the club and not just from the commfort of your armchair.

Andy. You are not speaking for me and I disagree almost 100% with your last post. I don't know about your region but from my point of view things are the complete opposite. I am sure that Del differs too.

As for the aforementioned "sniping" I thought that the last 3 months have been the smoothest since Scottishscoobies began. Certainly things are ticking over nicely and some new ideas are popping up all the time.
