craig mac Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 << My mrs who didnt like the god alloys wich look amazing has found another fault with it, there is no vanity mirror in the drivers sun visor , she tells me her saxo even has 1 . >> Well dont let her drive it then Simple Sounds like a danger to us all..........Looking for a bloody mirror on the drivers side visor???? not a good plan make up, mirror, drivers seat????............... nae nae LOOK OUT FOR MAKE UP CHECKING SAXO CHICKS!!! GUYS AND GALS Craig
clutdav Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 scoobyuk300, Am I right in assuming that the UK300 doesn't come with the Brembo brakes? If you are not going totally silly with engine mods the STi brembo brakes should be more than up to the job! Dave
G.T. Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 I like your idea of not letting her drive it, wish it was that simple, you would wonder why she would want to driv it anyway when she says she hates it so much, she drove the leon all the time checking her hair and make up and when i put the sunvisor down all i seen was my ugly mug .
G.T. Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 no brembos on he uk300 just subaru brakes definatly dont feel as good as the brembos on the seat was thining of going along the line of uprating the disks and pads
tino Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Godspeed brakes seem to be a popular. They are one of the cheaper options as they use the origional calipersGodspeed
zeolite Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 I have just got a WRX 300 PPP and there is no problems with the brakes at all. I left foot brake too. I assure you that I use them hard at times as well. Maybe you are used to greater servo assistance.

Maybe longer pedal travel (marginally) but they always stop very well in hard use! Gus
st3ph3n Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 One of my mates found the brakes on his WRX to be a bit soft, he mentioned it to the garage at the 1K service, but I don't think they found anything up with them. I've found them to be more than adequate, particularly with these EBC front pads which seem able to take a helluva lot of abuse before they take the huff. Having said that, the Godspeed conversion does look a good deal considering it includes the discs and pads too.
