clutdav Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Howdy guys and gals, I just can't help myself at the moment regarding mods for the scooby. Well a big thanks has to go out to Marc (aka Boyakasha) for taking the time to supply and fit the Scot Lowe STi splitter to my car on Sunday. I had been wanting to go for the S203 look on the front on my car - and at the moment I think it looks really good (and more importantly mean as ). However, the Mrs is making noises that i should colour code it. I am undecided.......... What do you guys think???? Here is a picture of the S203 front end.............. And here are some of my baby................ Dave
FastScooby Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 i like it ... dont think it would like right colour coded.. Leave it black.. fancy swapping wheels
clutdav Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 Swapping wheels????? I was of the opinion of leaving the splitter black but I have to admit I am wondering what it would look like colour-coded............ I do however love the fact that the front end of the car looks really mean now. Dave
IanJ Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Looks superb. Keep it as it is IMO....or give it to me. The only 2 options really.
clutdav Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 << Looks superb. Keep it as it is IMO....or give it to me. The only 2 options really. >> - Ha ha I'll keep that in mind............ Dave
st3ph3n Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Looking damn good Dave. Leave it black though. I've got the WRX splitter on mine, which is black, but not the black of the car itself and it just makes it stand out that little bit more. If you colour code it will disappear into the car and take the edgey look away from it. The look that says - I've not had breakfast yet, and you're it.
oobster Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Another vote for leaving as it is. Looking nicer every time i see that motor. I am SO jealous.
clutdav Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 Thanks for all the positive comments guys. The more people to say leave it as it is the better as I'll show this thread to her when she gets home tonight.......... Dave
G.T. Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 keep it black mate it looks amazing, what kind of alloys you got on they are well smart my mrs hates the gold prodrive oz on my car
clutdav Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 They are Prodrive PFF-7 copies that I had sprayed a darker anthracite colour. I think they go really well with the crystal grey paintwork. But then again I would.......... Dave
stuboo Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Yip leave it black it looks great and it goes with the dark wheels
2559B Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 looks really nice mate ............... LEAVE IT BLACK !!!!!
ScoobyAndy Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Looks great. Tell the wife its STAYING BLACK!!!!
gus the bus Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Keep it black! Car would look too long @ the front if you coded it! Just my opinion
