Also got one on my car.

Its mapped up to 320bhp and 310lbf.

No real problems but I think I could push nearer the 350++ if it was ECUTEK or as Scott says..Gems or Motec

Gav @ Wallace performance fitted one to my uk97 wagon, 330bhp & 330lbft torque (with other mods) I think its the MUTS NUTS. It went up from 247bhp.

Al, are you running a new age? If so, you don't need a piggy back ECU mate.

The whole piggy back ECU thing is a real b*stard hack IMO, after installing it the on-board ECU is in a constant state of WTF is going on! This may not have any affect on real world performance, but it certainly gives me a bad feeling. It's like putting a wee bit of petrol in the tank of a Diesel engine for some added Oomph! (yes that does work - been there, done that on HGV?s in winter).

Give my on-board ECU a new environment map any day, and let the thing do it?s job.

A hack is a hack is a hack, it will never be more efficient than a hack by design!

It is one of the better piggy back units out there but it has its limitations due to only being able to correct the std fuel and ign map by a certain amount either side of thier normal opartaing outputs
