the squiggle Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Lost my mobile phone yesterday by leaving it on the bonnet of my neighours car when i was working on my car and forgot all about it until it was toooooo late and he had left for the evening. I had a good look for it for about 200yds in all directions but no joy. It is coming up user temporarily unavailable so i think someone has found it but have kept it for them self. So i hit the hay at 6pm last night and woke up with the Japanese Grand Prix on the tele at god knows what time this morning Grant
the squiggle Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The future is not very bright.....Orange Dont know the contact number to get the phone cancelled but i know someone who does. I am hoping my neighbour noticed this phone rattling about in the scuttle panel but knowing Steven like i do, bye bye phone Grant

sharon_mccall Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 << Mornin folks, canny believe am at work for 8am on a sunday mornin >> You must be knackered. What time did you get to yer bed at?
p1ggm Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 good morning, i am just oot ma bed, away to make a nice big brekkie and chill oot all day and watch the gp
Gumball Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 morning. just up out my scratcher. 1pm nice. went out in the car again, highlands in the wet. good fun. hit a rabbit and took the splashguard that sits in the middle/sightly left between the wheels. (not the undertray) the smaller one. WTF is this for????? anyway it came off. yesterday taking squirrel to get a new boost hose i reversed into a gate and scratched the rear bumper. so with all the fuel, splashguard and paint touch up........the cars staying off the road till KH. Gonna watch the Jap F1 and chill all day
weeb Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 the rabbit will no sleep in the middle of the road again!!!! ha ha
Gumball Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 what a noise when the car hit it eh? the bones could be heard shattering off my headers and decat. i feel bad though.
weeb Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 silly place to be sleeping tho!!! a think the wee rabbit just smashed to bits when you ploughed over it!!! horrible noise!! at least the wee bunny can go to heaven knowing it was smashed to smitherenes by a 400bhp scooby piloted by GUMBALL
Gumball Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 i wonder why? was it because you lft her at 1030pm to go gumballing through the highlands? LOL that takes bottle to do that mate, i would have stayed where i was but i was glad of the company
weeb Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 aye!!! she will be happy soon!!! had a brill run, most enjoyable!! roads were really quiet. did you get anything sorted with that tray that the wee rabbit broke???
Gumball Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 no, it wasnt supposed to be there anyway. why subaru put a black plastic tray under be gearbox i have no idea
weeb Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 wot a waste of time!! bet they employ a team of jap guys to make these useless trays!!!
Gumball Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 as much use as a chocolate fireguard. LOL should send them all home again. runs fine without it.
billyboy Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 All plastic guards are to aid the flow of air under the car in other words aerodynamics. Mine has got two huge plastic trays up each side as well to smooth the flow of air under the car. Here endeth todays lesson in useless information.
dougster Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Naw they aren't. They are to keep the engine bay clean unless you have a Ferrari or something with a completely smooth undertray to reduce the influence of underside airflow by covering the car's underside. This avoids turbulence and lift. I whipped mine off long ago to help cooling. A pic of a PROPER undertray!!
