I am thinking about slamming my new age wagon on its arse. What springs r best? H andR 50mm or tein 35mm ? I have heard of problems with the bedding in on eibach?.face-icon-small-tongue.gif

I think it is 25mm front and 20 mm rear. Much more and you may kill the Scoobs handling characteristics on road.

The drop is I am sure listed on the Subaru website or on the prodrive website/subaru section.

Sounds about right Brian - got the prodrive springs on mine about 4 weeks ago and it's dropped the front more than the back - but it looks nice with a very slight nose-down attitude.

S&S done mine, just under the 400 quid mark including a geo check

Makes a difference to the look but it is the handling which is most important I believe. Any car can look low.

I think I paid just short of £330 at A F Noble Subaru in Penicuik, without any SIDC discount, about 15 months ago, which I thought was a good price. This included supply and fit of the springs and the full geometry check and Prodrive settings.

Sorry I missed you the other night Andy - it signed me in - I was not there but having connection problems for weeks (no phone for three weeks face-icon-small-sad.gif ).

never mind springs, coilovers are the way forward, makes a massive difference to the handling of the car, definitely teins....

Only if you like your car skipping along the road.Much much stiffness.

Mate, I've just fitted the Tein ones as these were suggested by a few people on the Forum. Lowers by 35mm front and 25mm on the rear. Cost including Geometry reset was £319.

I was originally going to fit the Prodrive ones but I think its down to personal choice really!
