aye, i knew you did a lot of A/S/L questioning andy.

do you , james, scott and Geoff spend your time in certain rooms when we're not out selling for you??

AND REGARDING DOUGLAS' POST BELOW- you still fill out loan, creditcard, interview forms and put "yes please" where it says sex dont you???face-icon-small-wink.gif

It's the chronic lack of punctuation, and any attempt to break up long paragraphs into sentences, that gets to me. I end up feeling breathless after reading half the posts.

Only met the dude once so far and it was the Scottish Scoobies stickers on his motor that found me this site - so blame him!

Did hook up with Robbo the other day though through work - another IT guy. Our alleged business meeting consisted of nothing other than talk about what Andy Forrest had done to his car the previous weekend face-icon-small-wink.gif

I understand what you're saying and where you're coming from this is a constant problem for me too where I feel like I have to take a deep breath or several to be honest just to understand a post I'm glad I'm not alone in this and that someone else shares my problem it's particularly frustrating when someone is describing a problem with their car and looking for help and although im not that technical when it comes to engines and such compared to most on here i struggle to even understand the problem let alone the diagnosis and rectification so i totally agree with your frustrations and why you get worked up about this I'm just so glad I don't post messages like that on these forms because then I'd start to do my own head in and that would't be good in fact I'd be completely lost and dont think I'd be alone how do you feel about this?

I hate to say this but you are going to have all different types of people from different walks of life in here posting. Some that can produce perfect grammar and spelling and some that can?t spell or string a sentence together to save themselves.

I have a slight issue with grammar and spelling myself and you tend to find I go back over posts sometimes because I have discovered that something doesn't look right. I think you should have some patience with some people or the simple answer is, don?t read it.

It really does hack me off when people come on judging people by there standards of grammar and spelling.

We aren't all perfect you know.

Sarcasm at its best lads face-icon-small-wink.gif

Pete, we ain't judging anything!!

We are merely poking fun at basic forum rules. (and worldwide rules)

No Caps, a few full stops etc.

Scottish Scoobies welcome any forum user, and apologies if any offence was caused.

I can handle the mistyping and poor punctuation as we're not all perfect, but this is a genuine email received today in response to something for sale...

"hi how r u wer u from and wat type of money r u looking for pls"

BLOODY TEXT TALK! Absolute pet hate of mine. It's just sheer bloody laziness with a full-size keyboard in front of you and a poor reflection on modern communication. I've even seen it on bloody motorway signs. Arghhhhhhhhh......

(gets off soapbox)

Ahhh...feel better now. Nothing like a good rant.
