Bing Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 After a long weekend moving flats, boozing heavily, missing KH on the Sunday and leaving my car in the very capable hands of Russell and Marc I thought I'd take this opportunity to say thanks to the afforementioned guys for all the work done to my car. Without boring people with fine details of the work done all I can say is I gave Russ my keys, went to the pub and came back some time later to find that Russ had stripped my car to the bones, built it back up with a few mods gave me some sound advice and sent me on my merry way! (not so much purring but growling and popping ) So for all you peeps looking for parts, advice and/or work done this is the place to go - you wont be dissapointed - its quality assured! Thanks again Steve
dougster Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Nice one Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!! (it's working!!!!)
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Lovin' the avatar lads ! Stevie - do you realise it's a crime to not post up what mods have been performed ! Didn't really get a proper chance to catch up with you at KH......what else have you had done lateley you mischevious old dawg Uncle Russell does a sterling job so I may call upon his services to fit some braided hoses and dot 5.1 fluid ! Marc is also a top bloke and should rent out his modding bat cave by the hour ! Cheers Cal

Bing Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 Id been snooping about gathering a few bits and bobs for a while now so thanks to a few folks! Mods fitted included up-pipe, turbo, fuel pump, knocklink, dump valve, samco's, heat wrapped down pipe and some wing thing Marcs bat cave supplied the various required extras and Uncle Russ went to town !! I just made my excuses and supped corona in Soul Bar!!! Keeping off boost at the moment but the old heavy right foot is finding it hard to refrain!
Boyakasha Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Great stuff Steve, the car was sounding fantastic so much so that one of my neighbours came over to complain that we woke up her little boy. I mean ffs it was 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and O was in the process of holding my mobile next to the exhaust whilst telling Steve to listen how great it sounded . Needless to say we sent her packing and got back to work. It was good to finally meet you Steve it's just a shame Russell and I couldn't have come out with you on the Friday night, but we had our hands full and I don't think a hang over would have helped us through the following day. Marc
WUZ Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Glad to see that al is well, a bit of boost is OK with what you have but remember the "B-road blasts" are out until the remap is done. Keep us advised, good power is quite achievable with what you now have. Russell ps - keep me update on the TMIC situation as I can supply "official" paperwork for court purposes if need be pps - PM me your address and Reg Number as I need to send the invoice to you:eek:
Iaing Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Another satisfied customer Thanks again for the down pipe fitting much appreciated. Loving the increase in performance! Iain **edit, i cant spell!**

WUZ Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Seems to be a lot of Uncles on here. Don't you agree, Uncle Boyakasha Russell
fai17 Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 << Seems to be a lot of Uncles on here. Don't you agree, Uncle Boyakasha Russell >> Great work guy.Bing seems to be well chuff when i spoked to him at KH. Where is Uncle Gumball???He left me again

Bing Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 Dont worry about it Peter, By the time Chris reaches 700 brake he'll be towing a trailer of optimax behing him, then you'll leave him
Boyakasha Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 << Seems to be a lot of Uncles on here. Don't you agree, Uncle Boyakasha Russell >> I am actually a real uncle as is Uncle Russell but not sure about the other gang members
Gumball Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 why is it that when wee kids come up to you at your house, in the street, wherever they ask you about your car and how fast it goes. when you tell them 160mph or whatever they say theyre uncle has one that goes faster !!! one littel turd asked me how fast it went. 160mph i replied. apparently his uncles one goes 210mph. how quick did you do the 1/4mile? 13 odd seconds. oh yeah his unlce did it in 5 seconds. so......if your an unlce, your a b bag
Bing Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 Maybe the wee guy is Andy F's nephew Or maybe your car only goes fast if you're an Uncle?
Iaing Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 << Ian - got sideways yet ! can you hear the turbo spool up nicely Cal >> Havent had it sideways...yet I am still in disbeleif that one little pipe can bring so much happiness! oh and no cel yet either! Iain
Gumball Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 << I am still in disbeleif that one little pipe can bring so much happiness! >> take martin o neil for example, he brought the celtic fans happiness for a few years !!!
st3ph3n Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 To be fair Chris it was Wim Jansen that brough us Happiness. Martin just managed to keep him there for a good few seasons. The kids round my way love my car. All their parents drive fancy german metal too.
