That i have to announce that the infamous winerack spoiler is sold and off the car

Warby came up from down south this evening to collect his new spoiler and relinquish his standard sti jobbie. I have to say looking out the window at my car, it doesnt look the same. not sure for the better or the worse now that ive had the unique replica on it but time will tell.

At least now i can see out the back window for when wilky gets back i joke. sounds gay but it was hard to let it go.

Think i'll have to get crazy decals on the car again now.

Actually no, because no one else in Scotland has one AFAIK. Which makes mine very distinctive.

It's a shame to see the wine rack go as it was also a one of a kind in these parts. At least it got a good home.

So you've sold the "Shoe rack" spoiler after only 3 months.

It was never a wine rack anyway, it was originally called the shoe rack; after 5 of us went to the Scottish Rally last year and 4 got their feet wet crossing a river ( I took my shoes and socks off). When I got back they all had their shoes in each of the slots and their socks on the top section.

They thought it was funny.

st3ph3n, Chris is partly correct, the Spec C he was in up here in Aberdeen belongs to my better half's brother who owns a 05 Spec C RA Nurburg Edition which came with the CF Spoiler as standard. It is a cost option on the standard Spec C.

I wasn't aware that any of them came with the wing as standard. I stand corrected.

It was certainly the Spec C look as I was going for with the splitter and the CF wing, but obviously on the cheap.

Only a mad man would pay a grand for a spoiler. Anyone here done that?

Warby, im glad your happy with it mate. I have man flu and left my work to get to my bed this afternoon and the car flew. seems lighter which makes up for the lack of individuality about the car today.
