Photo shoot date..NOVEMBER

Now that there has been nearly everyone vote for the photo shoot, well 46 people isnt bad i think we should try and organise a date for the shoot.

I will speak to John at scooby magazine and see if he and his partner are willing to travel North to take pictures for the magazine also.

People have suggested that it may be a good idea to organise a run afterwards and class it as an SIDC event. At the moment there isnt anyone designated as organise/run specialist so if provisionally we go for two proposed dates in Novermber this will give us a chance to get something put together and find a location for the photoshoot.

please vote for a date, comment if neither suit and post your comments on the idea of a collective run afterwards.

i have thought about the potential dates when there are no rallys, F1 events, meets, etc

I've gone for the 20th but either suits.

Perth sounds good to me. An hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh and not much more from Aberdeen. It's the fairest place really. Unless we found out where everyone lived then worked out some sort of maths where we found a central point between the furthest south and the furthest north.

either date is good for me!! any place will do either!! i enjoy travelling around in my scoob!! how would a nice forest back ground be for the pictures?? am sure there is an area like that in perth, cant remember the name of the forest but i have been mountainbiking there. its the big hill you see when you pass perth heading towards dundee on the motorway.

Its no big issue, just wondered.... I know that SIDC Stands are Impreza/Subaru Specific, but was just checking to see if this would be the same sort of idea thats all.

seems these days that the photoshoot would be more popular than the run, so........if people want to do it after the photoshoot we can organise something.

I mentioned at the start of the poll, that it would be appreciated if folk could specify wether they would be interested in a run afterwards. so far no one has commented realy.

I'm definitely up for this - partly for the opportunity to take pics myself (Canon 10D at the mo, but hopefully also a 20D by then). I'm quite into me stitch photography (clicky (Warning: big file)) and think a panoramic shot would look cool as...

Downside: Blanking out 60+ number plates

How cool would a full 360 cars parked in a circle panorama be? Very cool. Loving the work Andy. Did you stitch it with a particular bit of software or are you a hands on with the airbrush in photoshop kind of guy?

Grant, I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to join in. Perhaps 2 shots can be done - one with members/regulars who own other Marques and one without.

You're a regular here and from my short term with the club it seems that everyone is welcome, and that's the way it should be really...
