Neofox Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Just wondering if anyone could help me out please. Looking at getting some mudflaps for my classic. I would like some fairly rigid ones 2-3mm thick that dont move around much under driving. I think it was u Cal at the Fast and Modified show if it was its the type that are on ur car. (Sorry if i have the wrong person). Also hoping to get STi on them. Hope someone can help! Ian
oobster Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I've got Scott Lowe flaps on mine and they are the business - about £158 quid though
colinj Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 They sell them on e-bay for £60....not sure on quality but the feedback seems good!!!
andy_robertson Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 scott lowe ones are dearer cause you get the brackets for securing them better e bay ones are the exact same look but you just screw them in look the exact same when theyre on though but more of a chance of coming off
colinj Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Theres 2 types on Ebay some with Stainless Steel Brackets for £60 & some without for £45!! ebay Been thinking of getting some for mine
irish al Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I fitted the £45 ones from ebay on my car. They didnt make the £60 ones at that time as they are new out. The £45 ones were a bit of a pain to fit so would recommend the ones with the brackets. I like them better than the original (any way more expensive) ones cause you can make them sit a little bit lower on the car, they also sit further up inside the arch. See Subaru 006 below
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 more details on my flaps here Worth the money IMHO - it's just justifying them to the lemon curc that's the problem Cheers Cal
