Anyone had dealings with Auto solutions in Glasgow?

Just wondered what the crack was with these guys??

Anyone used them or had dealings with them?

I spotted a car in the Auto Trader that they have for sale just now and as I have never heard of them I thought I would put the feelers out.

Dont want to even consider it if they are suspect in any way

That car is a local one. Seen it around loads of times.

only info i can find is off the dvla website ........ not much TBH ---

first registered on 4th August 1999 ....

last owner ( V5 ) change was on 11th August 2004.

the rest on the website is basic stuff ( I.E. -- engine size - colour - emmisions rating - etc. )

I went to see that 22b yesterday.

The dealer said its had 2 owners but only one is listed, was told it was imported new its got 48k miles on it, they dont have the history but said he should be able to get it, engine oil was clean looked like it had been serviced not long ago, under the bonnet looks like new, its got ap 6 pots on the front, its got i/c waterspray, dccd, alpine head unit amp cd changer, clifford proximity alarm the bodywork looks very good although the n/s sideskirt is loose at the back, the rear diff has some oil around it not sure if its a d/shaft seal or just oil lying around from filling ! i have not been out in it but the gearchange/steering ect all felt fine in the showroom.

I was put off by the fact the sales guy didnt seem to know much about it, but it certainly looked the part

The one i seen was in auto solutions in rutherglen, i dont know if its the one in the link !

I recognise the plate.

I met the owner (Chris Black???) a while back in Hamilton. He sold it well over 2 years ago and bought a Range Rover. iirc

I'm sure he stayed near the Lexus dealership if it's the same guy. Paul (Ricey) may remember his full name if I got it wrong
