st3ph3n Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Splitter fitted last night, survived the journey to and from work (and a 50 minute wait at the Kincardine Bridge), and then the spoiler fitted this evening. Pictures aren't my best work, but the light was fading. Wing, both and splitter. Really chuffed with them. Scott Lowe does some fantastic bits.
oobster Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Very nice stephen, very nice indeed. That a Scott Lowe front splitter? How much, if u don't mind me asking?
st3ph3n Posted July 29, 2005 Author Posted July 29, 2005 It is indeed my good man. One of these. I got 10% off as it was part of a GB (for the carbon wings). It doesn't photograph that well it must be said. But really looks the business. Sharpens up the front end of the car a treat. A bit of an illegitimate male child to fit due to most of the bolts going into places that you couldn't really see, so it was very fiddly. Got there in the end though. Paid for it this morning mind you. My dodgy knees were aching, and I've got bruises and scrapes in places I didn't know existed.
Gumball Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 like it stephen, like it where did you get the splitter mate?
st3ph3n Posted July 29, 2005 Author Posted July 29, 2005 Everything was from Scott Lowe. He does a carbon splitter for STIs, as well as the regular matt black fibre glass one which is similar to the one I got for the WRX, but to fit the STI bumper.
st3ph3n Posted July 31, 2005 Author Posted July 31, 2005 Better pictrures now that it's clean and the sun is out. I just love looking in my wing mirrors and catching a cheeky glimpse of the end plates of the wing.
