dave_morgan Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Looking for a 14ft+ trampoline with safety net etc. Anyone know of anybody local who supplies? Plenty on ebay for around the £200 mark, but they're all charging 60 odd quid shipping, as they are so heavy!! Would rather use te £60 to line a Scotsman pocket or get a bigger one! Dave
johns Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Costco had one when I last visited, but not sure about the size.
Manx minx Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 We got a 12 foot trampoline at our local B&Q for £120 but didn't get the safety net. A mate of ours got the same but with a safety net and they have had 3 trips to casualty so far. We haven't had any injuries so far and hopefully won't.(please God)Don't know if thats any help m8. Nicky
dave_morgan Posted July 26, 2005 Author Posted July 26, 2005 Thanks John, I'll check them out on the way home. << We got a 12 foot trampoline at our local B&Q for £120 but didn't get the safety net. johns Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Dave, it was a few weeks ago I saw it in Costco, so might be worth a phone call before dropping in past if it's out of your way. With a lot of their stuff if you don't buy it when you see it, it's not there next week when you've thought about it. We've made thast mistake a few times in the past.... John
st3ph3n Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Sure Costco Glasgow had it last time I was there, which would have been a fortnight ago. Also worth picking up, for all your car cleaning needs - a FORTY pack of terry towels for about a tenner. Consider a Meguiars or Swissol branded one is about £5 a shot or £10 for 2, and that the quality is exactley the same, then it's well worth buying. Oh, and Silicon Blades for £3. The same one scoobyworld sold to me for £10 or so
Manx minx Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 No the trips to casualty were for 1.bouncing out of the safety cage as young fella forgot to close the door of the safety net, 2. bouncing too high and managing to go over the safety net ( think that was the plan as there was a few pals also going high), 3. sprained ankle on getting off the trampoline. My daughter has as I said been ok so far just had to supervise for a few days and give out some safety rules. Nicky ---------- Subaru Impreza turbo 4x4 '97 Subaru Impreza wrx sti type uk '03
