Fee Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 thanks to drb5 for having a listen to it today the kl is flashing red, pretty much whenever I go fast, but its fine!!! Just spoken to Wallace Performance who fitted it, and said that the sensors are on the back of the block, and maybe I should just adjust the sensitivity I can stop worrying now anyway
drb5 Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Just remember where i told you to get it fitted. That way, there shouldn't be any problems with too much noise in the future.

Fee Posted July 23, 2005 Author Posted July 23, 2005 I was on the m8 but have no idea where hillington is!!! probably was me.....
drb5 Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 It was. I spotted you guy's giving it some right by us.

drb5 Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Shame we couldn't get the sensor moved, but it disappeared away under the up-pipe. Funny company, that Wallace Performance.
dougster Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Fitted in the wrong place Dave? Not like mine of course as you done a smashing job. PS, might get a new water pump just to be sure.
st3ph3n Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Hillington is the other side of the motorway from the Braehead shopping centre and Ikea. As a woman there's a fair chance you'll know that area well.
Fee Posted July 24, 2005 Author Posted July 24, 2005 Actually, today was the first time I've ever been to braehead....I'd never heard of it before.....god knows how I missed that one! When I spoke to Gav from WP he seemed to think it was in the normal place, and I should just turn the sensitivity right down, but to me that just seems to defeat the whole purpose of having a KL
drb5 Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Totally agree and seem's like a cr@p answer from the company that done it. If you can find out EXACTLY where it is fitted, it should be no problems in getting someone else to fit it where it should go. If it weren't for the car being so hot, you could have popped back over here, but you'd need a few hours for it to cool down. Defo in the wrong place Doug. Feckin amateur's!
