zeolite Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 In at the SECC for the best show I have ever seen in my life. Sound, lights, flamethrowers and a few explosions for good measure. Saw a few scoobs in te car park. So who else was there?
dougster Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Rammstein........................who?????? Glad you had a good night Ian!!
dougster Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Ian you have strange taste!!! I have just listened to some samples on their site!! "We're all living in America, it's wunderbar, it's wunderbar"
zeolite Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 Yup. Political irony m8 Now imagine that with 6000 fans singing along to the band with a huge light show and flamethrowers going off on stage.
drb5 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 You don't seen like the sort of person to enjoy Rammstein, but hey, what ever floats yer boat! Edited to add, they are a band i would like to see, as i would reckon it would be an awesome atmosphere, bit like Marilyn Manson(sp?).
zeolite Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 drb5..is that a compliment? I used to play in heavy metal bands when I was a yoof (along with other types) I just refuse to get old. There is a lot more to Rammstein than Marilyn Manson. The politics and theatre make them a lot more compex. Still make an unholy racket as well.
drb5 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Tis a compliment, yes. Yeah, MM is a bit theatrical, but i presume they give a good show, as i would expect of Rammstein. I seen that group that wear all the scarecrow style masks with dreadlocks a couple of years ago, but as it was in outside gig, it wasn't up to much. Maybe better in somewhere like the SECC.
JamesF Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I've heard there music too..........because my dad listens to them !!
