Or are we not allowed to pass comment on something that affects our country or lives

Personnally i think we should start caring more about our own people than other countries where the majority of them dont do anything to help themselves.

And b4 the pc brigade try and flame me with what they have seen on the news i will say this......................i have been to plenty of third world and ar$e end countries and seen it first hand so i think i have a pretty informed opinion on this.

its strange as you say that a post started commenting on the freedom of speach that some people are clearly taking to far this week with the G8 summit protests has dissapeared..........

I can recall seeing none of these people when i was in depraved areas around the world!!!!

possibly they were camping out in EH12 when they should have been practising what they preach.

For the reasons he states above, several posts were OTT and I fully support his decision

As for Freedom of Speech Not wanting to start a war here but where does the law give you the right to freedom of speech.

Further the T&C's you agreed to when signing up allows us to remove ANY post/threads we want to without explanation however we have a VERY relaxed moderation policy which I hope will continue so please be understanding when we occasionally do step in and act

I don't post too often in here & when I do it's generally not aimed at being of offence to anyone.I enjoy this SIDC site ,I love Scoobies(all performance/classic cars)and think this site Rocks.I also apreciate all the effort of those involved.However,of the last three post I've started.........1 completely vanished,then several hours later the post appeared again(it was about times of the AWD crew at Crail,which by nature can't get anyones back up) after several of us posted to ask what happened to the post.The other someone had a go at me for asking for info on track nights at Knockhill and the third post(G8 Post)is now missing?

So I feel a bit like Gumball,if I'm not liked here I'll just piss off back to Scoobynet..............(as grim as that maybe)

Sorry,but it's all abit too serious in here for me sometimes,so lets make a few things clear.

Everyone on here likes cars,however,my Scooby is fun,enjoyment,happy thoughts and smiles for me.I ,like you,are never going to make a living from being in the WRC or F1.Sometimes others forget this on here.

My post on the G8 was not started in a negative manner,so mods,in future,please moderate the daftys and not the full post,as this is offencive to original creator of such threads.

we realise that on the whole the moderation is relaxed, hence the reason it gets peoples backs up when a thread is removed and no courtesy explanation is given. Even more so when it is such a big subject like the G8 that is having a big impact in our country and to alot of peoples lives within it.

I have strong views on this event and think that we should sort our own country out and leave the rest of them to it. And as for Live8..................dont even get me started on that one!!!!!!!!!!
