Gee Wr1 Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 If you are booked up for any track days take note. Attended the Ladies night on Tues with Miss Scooby & a couple of new rules for this year in the drivers brief: 1. Long sleeves must be worn on track. 2. No cameras/ video cameras allowed in car unless they are mounted on a proper camera mount. Lucky we both had a fleece in the car with us but were unable to use vid camera. Cal i noticed you had a pretty good looking mount in your car at last SIDC day, where about did you get it from & what sort of price??? Gee
IanJ Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Hi Gee, I think Cal has the same one as me. B. Hague camera mounts I went for the complete kit as it has the suction mount and a clamp, so can pretty much be used anywhere in the car (or outside if you feel brave!) They were quick at delivering too. Ian
evojkp Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Gee, This is the one I use in the Evo. Well pleased with it. Quick and reliable service. Camcorder Holder ...John
evojkp Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Beaten to the punch, due to having keyboard bashing fingers...
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Timely reminder Gee I do indeed have the B-hauge mount which survived Wilkies front window / coil-over combo for 3 hrs Do we not also need our driving licenses as well now ? CGS
johns Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Cal is correct - you'll need to bring your driving licence as well for future track days. The event organiser must also inspect each mounted camera to satisfy themselves that it is safe. John
johns Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Ian, it's in the ever growing list of things to do. Need to do the write-up/competition for True Grip for these first. John
iroc-si Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 I heard a rumour that they also need the cars to have both front a rear tow hooks. Is this true? Si.
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Thank god we don't have noise emissions eh lads ! ....... alas all of the loud boys never venture out on track ! I can wait to do some mounting
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Any thoughts on KH's view on mounting cameras on the outside of your car ?......... I hope they ain't gonna be partypoopers Cal
