sti-zlv Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Great day at Crail today, sun was out and loads of modded jap cars. Got to say the most fun was the drive there and back As usual good turnout by the SIDC boys, good banter and we may have recrited a few more folk. Good to see WRC 1 get the wagon on the strip, showing these 600bhp Skylines how its done PS I've been reliably informed Swiggi has soom goos footage. Matt
RossRB5 Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Yeah was a good day. Saw all the scoobs altogether, recognised some from SIDC (the wagon with reggy R** TUR), was a great sight. Unfortunately there seemed to be no owners at the cars when I was there, but got some decent pics anyways. Oh and I think I was behind Squirrel on the way there this morning!
Gumball Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Yes, todays run to crail and back was fantastic!!! Very similair in some respects to last weekends mayhem if you know what i mean? Great blast there and back, whilst obviously observing the speed limit. good to meet more people and let the gumball machine out its cage (swiggi) totally shattered when i got back to glasgow, but excellent fun all day. cant wait to see the footage.
wilky Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Fantastic day out, I really enjoyed all your company once again and getting to know u all a bit better. Run there was outstanding, real early morning b road classic action. Run back spoiled by loose injector connection and Squirrel clipping a kerb, hope the alloy is okay friend! Scoff outstanding, and Grant managed to stop foaming at the mouth long enough to eat a huge steak! See you all again really soon, Wullie if you want me and Grant to fiddle with your boost controller you have my number. Callum W, Oor Faithur, and JK
MS S6CUB Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Another beezer of a day!!! and the sun shone - for once! Gumball Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 S6CUB.......... Its important that i say, i turned up with an STI with a couple of GUMBALL3000 stickers on it. What happened next wasnt my doing. Frasers intercooler got a bit overheeted and he started getting carried away with himself!!!!! a bit. I found his antics hilarious and agreed that no doubt encouraged him? I was thinking about you enduring that on the way home again. quite amusing, but im sorry for instigating a headache for you.
fraser_drinkwater Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Hello chaps, just a quick rush, as im off to Zagreb with chris in the gumball, hes just sent a pm. But im doing sa group buy, on scoops. Ps in my day 99's were 99p not £1.30!!!! The footage is nuts.
micra_wrc Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 << Run there and back was ermmm.... interesting but the run in lorry was better, eh Imy!!! >> LOL S6CUB. the run in the lorry was fun. it was a good day, weather was surprisingly mild for Crail. some pics from today we've arrived. let's all pop our bonnets and look important there was a lorry creating a lot of smoke in the drift ring so gayle and I asked for a pax lap. the driver took us out one at a time decided to blow his tyres when i was in the truck group buy Imy

colin_ross Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Alright troops? Sorry for the no-show today. Return of the mystery starting problem from the MMO caught me out this moring. Tracked it down to a loose earthing strip so no more excuses. Lets see your entry numbers so I can have a gander at your times.
MS S6CUB Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 << S6CUB.......... >> << was thinking about you enduring that on the way home again. quite amusing, but im sorry for instigating a headache for you. >> Don't worry Chris - I'll get you back somehow..... maybe i'll stick him in your car when he's hyper - to gimme a break KARPS - THANK YOU - NOT
wilky Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 << Alright troops? Sorry for the no-show today. Return of the mystery starting problem from the MMO caught me out this moring. Lets see your entry numbers so I can have a gander at your times. >> Its okay mate I never ran, just walked about all day saying, "Na, if playsatans no here, Im saving my gearbox til he is!, Nah Im no runnin if hes no here!" yesterday I had the back interior out, spoiler off was chuckin bits oot the car like it was going out of fashion, mailed britains finest on 22b about blanking my dumpvalve, phoned a man about Avgas and then it hit me, his car wont start anyway! So I put it all back together again and chilled out!!! I have a wee message for you I touch goats buddy. Callum
colin_ross Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 You should have went on mate, that way I would know wether I'd be up for a race the next time. Only joking, I'll defo be there and it would be rude not to take it up the strip after driving all that way. Should try and arrange something on a non-magazine day when the strip is a lot quieter and theres not as many novas about. In fact, I'll pm you back about it.
