RS Grant Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Farecla G3 Regular Grade Paste Compound Thats how it appears on the tube... A friend gave me a brand new tube of it, and told me to just use it in the same way as wax, however, I've heard this is heavy duty stuff to use so I'm looking for some pointers about how to apply this stuff for the best results. I dont have an electrical buffer, it'll be good ol' elbow grease I'll be putting in!! Cheers, Grant
drb5 Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 What do you need to know bud? It's just a heavy duty T-Cut really.
p1ggm Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 yeah its t cut....but better, best used with a buff, i use it in work, do it right, then a good wax, nothing beats it
RS Grant Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 Just wondering if its applied in the same way you apply normal wax/polish..... Get it on the cloth, sideways sweeps without too much pressure, and buff away. Obviously applying a wax after the car is done. Car has a few wee scuffs, etc at the moment and I'm looking to cut the paint back a tiny bit before spending a wee while waxing the thing!! Cheers, Grant
p1ggm Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 yeah that should do it grant, dont rub too hard thou, if you have the time do the whole car, but your arms will be sore thats why i use a buff lazyness
zeolite Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 It is great stuff but it is for cutting back after painting. It knocks the spraymarks off. I would be very careful with it. Apply on a soft damp cloth and wipe. Don't rub!
