johns Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 The situation is getting better by the hour. Yesterday, there was 6 inches of snow on the track and they had to cancel all events this week from last Saturday. Today the track is perfectly clear, but there's still about 2 inches of snow on the outfield. It is melting though and the thaw is expected to continue throughout today and tomorrow (it will be cold overnight though). Unfortunately, they couldn't let us run with that level of snow on the outfield, as if anyone went off, they wouldn't slow down as quickly as normal and would be in serious danger. Fingers crossed that all will be well though. John
